A video compression solution for VDI with rich graphics for Wide Area Network (WAN). DisplayVM solution has low latency and high compression. The solution is compatible with existing video encoders and decoders. The remote client can easily be implemented using set-top-boxes or TV dongles which are inexpensive.
The technology is codec-agnostic and can be used with any standard codecs such as H.264, VP9 and HEVC. The solution can be entirely in software running on industry standard ARM and x86 Processors, GPUs, or on standard encoder/decoder cores for hardware based solutions.
